There are two temperature settings: 80°C and 600°C. The higher one is used for burning weeds. To get rid of them effectively, start at the edge of the area you wish to be cleared. Just keep the burner over the weeds for three seconds until you have covered the whole area.
The 80°C setting should be used to cool the machine down after use to ensure a longer lifetime.
