AMY Tapper, the latest signing for Celebs Go Dating, has never been on a date – let alone had a boyfriend and found love.

The Gogglebox fave has quit the hit Channel

4 show to find romance at the dating agency.

It is a big leap of faith for the inexperienced 18-yearold virgin, who has turned down a string of exciting TV offers previously.

Amy has already spoken to the show’s psychologist over fears of becoming a victim of vile cyber bullies.

But despite her worries, industry experts believe joining the E4 matchmaking show could be the start of a huge reality TV career.

My telly source said: “Amy is perfect. She’s 18, never been on a date, never had a boyfriend and barely kissed a boy.

“The whole experience will be an incredible learning curve for her.

“Amy comes across as a loud, confident character but actually gets very nervous.

“When she’s nervous she can get verbal diarrhoea which will make great viewing.

“She’s been offered numerous shows in the past but turned them all down because she didn’t want to leave Gogglebox and because her family felt she was too young.” Amy and her parents

and have been on BAFTA-winning Gogglebox since it first aired back in 2013.

She decided to jump ship to CGD despite her and her family’s concerns over online trolls.

Amy quit Twitter in 2016 after being bombarded with vile messages about her weight.

One sick troll even described her as Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt.

My insider said: “This was a big decision for Amy.

“Not only is she the youngest contestant in the show’s history but she knows only too well that there are some horrible trolls on social media.

“But Amy is a strong character and refused to turn the chance down.

“She’s already seen the show’s psychologist who is on hand to support her as much as she needs.”

If Amy does find it tough there’s no one that gives better hugs than dating agency receptionist

– and I’m talking from experience!

Celebs Do Dating returns this autumn, while the Tapper family parents are expected to stay on Gogglebox despite son

and Amy quitting.
