“I really don’t like the feeling to lose games. It is not good for any manager around the world, so all the managers try to avoid that feeling.
“When you lose a game, you feel guilty, you feel bad. Your private life is not good, your relationship with the players is not good, so that is why you want to avoid that.
“Just with that simple fear of losing a game makes you hungry.”

But Daily Star Sunday understands that City have not been given any early screenings of the full film by the makers.
One brief insight shows Guardiola angrily addressing his players in the dressing room. “Some of you play better when you are angry with me,” he shouts. “So if you hate me, then hate me.”
He insisted that making friends with his players is low on his list of priorities when it comes to the business of winning trophies.
And he seemed to touch on how his relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic disintegrated at Barcelona when he decided that he had made a mistake in signing the Swede.
Guardiola said: “Sometimes you say things in the heat of the dressing room.
“Some players need to be hugged and for you to be close to them for their best performance.
“Sometimes when you don’t speak to them they play better.
“So every person is completely different.
“The important thing is that they play better – not what their relations with the manager are like.
“When they are together, he can be an exceptional manager – but after that they write books and make statements.”
He added: “Last season the cameras were inside all year.
“I don’t know what they were filming and what they want to show.
“I don’t know what is in it. But last season was so good in general – so I was kind to my players.”
