LOVE Island’s man eater Megan Barton-Hanson says she made “loads of money” from sex tapes.
Megan, 24, who finished fourth with boyfriend Wes Nelson, has no regrets about her X-rated career before entering the villa.
The babe said: “I’ve done some things in the past I’m not proud of but I’m not a bad person.
“I don’t regret doing webcam. It is in the past, it is what it is.
“I understand it’s not the job you would want your daughter doing but after dancing it is an easy progression.
“I did it, made a lot of money and then stopped.
“I came from a background of not having much money so I thought money would make me happy.
“I got loads of money and was still unhappy and that’s when I realised love makes you happy.
“That’s one of the reasons I entered Love Island.”
Megan became a hate figure on the hit series after stealing hunky Wes, 20, from Island favourite Laura Anderson, 29.
Revelations she didn’t have any female friends in real life also turned viewers off.
But she slowly won fans over, surviving all the way to the final.
Megan said: “I knew I wouldn’t be one of the favourites due to my glamour girl past.
“It was hard when I was always in the bottom few couples or when you heard what the public thought of me in the tasks.
“The response since I got out has been incredible though.
“It’s so clichéd and I feel cringey actually saying it but Love Island really has changed my life.
“On the outside world I wouldn’t have thought I deserved Wes.
“I would have run a mile because I thought he was too good for me but you can’t do that in the villa. I really did find love.
“My perceptions of girl friendships have completely changed too. Before I was in a group who bitched so I pulled myself away but I’ve realised I’m a girly girl.”
And when asked about her sexy webcam tapes, Megan said: “I didn’t do porn.”
Loved-up Megan and Wes are already house-hunting for a place to live together. And nuclear engineer Wes denied caring about his girlfriend’s x-rated past.
He added: “All I care about is the Megan who I met in the villa and the here and now.
“Her past jobs don’t worry or bother me. Megan has been completely honest.
“She made a lot of money and was very successful at it so you can’t criticise the graft she put in.
“I would never judge Megan on her past, I would only judge her on her as the person I love today.”
