It’s a load of hogwash
CELEBRITIES made a right pig’s ear of their latest television challenge.
Megan McKenna and Charlotte Dawson gave some filthy porkers a wash and scrub down while filming Celebs On The Farm.
The new series will see the pair tasked with getting their pigs ready for a show before being judged on their performance.
The results are hilarious, with 25-year-old Charlotte, daughter of comedy legend Les, comparing her ‘swine’ to boyfriend Matt because he’s a ginger.
A show source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Charlotte was given a ginger pig and kept saying how much he reminded her of Matt.
“She was chasing him around saying ‘come here you’ and had everyone squealing with laughter. She kept making jokes as she struggled to get him clean.
“Megan had a few problems at first but viewers will be pretty impressed with how she handled hers. She also joked about handling a lot of pigs in her time. “The scenes are TV gold and not to be missed.”
Other celebrities taking part in the show, which sees farmer Chris Jeffery giving them daily tasks, are TOWIE star Bobby Norris, dancer Louie Spence, Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle, ex-Strictly professional Gleb Savchenko, actress Lorraine Chase and British Judo Champion Ashley McKenzie.
Their challenges include handling cows, sheep and alpacas and mucking out the stables.
The source added: “The show was filmed on a farm in Sussex and all the celebs taking part had great fun.
“There weren’t any rows or bust-ups, everyone got on really well.”
Watch Celebs On The Farm at 10pm weekdays from August 20 on 5STAR. The first episode will be screened at the same time on Channel 5.
