No Imp-rovement needed for Lincoln

-

SLOVENIAN defender Matija Skarabot – partner of Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova – is looking for a club in the English lower leagues.

The experienced left-back, 30, is a free agent after quitting PrvaLiga outfit Gorica this summer to live in London with Bychkova and their young daughter.

Ex-Slovenia Under-21s international Skarabot said: LINCOLN moved to the top of the table as Notts County’s miserable start to the season continued.

Lee Frecklington’s volley set the Imps on their way to a 3-1 win.

Andy Kellett’s free-kick levelled matters but Bruno Andrade restored their lead just after the half-hour mark before turning provider after the break, crossing for Harry Anderson to seal the win.

MK Dons leapt above Exeter and into second in the table after a 1-0 victory over the Grecians.

Kieran Agard’s penalty was all that split the sides.

Colchester and Stevenage saw their unbeaten starts to the season ended by Northampton and Yeovil respectively.

Second-half strikes from Matt Crooks and Billy Waters put Northampton in control, with Aaron Pierre’s own goal in time added on mere consolation for Colchester in a 2-1 defeat.

Alex Fisher and Sessi D’Almeida both scored in the first half as Yeovil claimed a 2-0 win over Stevenage.

Ashley Nadesan’s strike lifted Carlisle to a 1-0 win over Crewe, while Newport overcame Grimsby by the same

“I have two more years left as a pro and would love to play in England.

“League One, League Two, or the National league, would be great .

“With Nadiya’s career taking off in England, I’ve moved here too because our family comes first.

“I’m backing her all the way but also want to continue with football.”

HARRY PRATT scoreline thanks to Matt Dolan’s free-kick.

Quickfire goals from Chris O’Grady and Gevaro Nepomuceno helped Oldham beat Morecambe 2-0, while Sam Jones’ strike proved the difference for Cheltenham in a 1-0 win at Cambridge.

Malvind Benning’s header was cancelled out by Harry Smith as Macclesfield grabbed a 1-1 draw at home to Mansfield while Tranmere edged out Port Vale 1-0 courtesy of James Norwood’s strike.

Ollie Palmer bagged the winner two minutes from time as Crawley hit back from 2-1 down to beat Bury 3-2.

The Shakers fell behind early on to Jimmy Smith’s header but second-half strikes from Chris Dagnall and Danny Mayor put them ahead.

Panutche Camara levelled four minutes later, before Palmer struck in the dying moments.

Swindon midfielder Michael Doughty’s penalty earned a 1-1 draw at Forest Green, who had gone ahead through Christian Doidge.
