CBB ROXANNE: Star’s TV career in tatters
SMITTEN Ben Jardine has claimed Roxanne Pallett is attracted to him despite being engaged to another man.
The pair enjoyed a flirty friendship in the CBB house while her fiancé Lee Walton watched at home.
In a candid chat, Ben said: “Roxanne 100% had feelings for me. There was a day when I looked into her eyes and there was a moment when something could have happened.
“I’m an extrovert and she’s an extrovert. We got the best out of being in there because of each other.
“People have always said to me ‘calm down, calm down’. But she would say ‘keep going’. She brought the best out of me.
“When I looked into her eyes I saw myself staring back at me.”
Viewers saw Ben give Roxanne a kiss on the neck and last week he confessed he had fallen in love with her.
Ben has insisted he doesn’t feel guilty about cosying up to an engaged woman.
He said: “I don’t regret what happened between us. I tried to handle the situation as a gentlemen. I can’t help who I am. I wear my heart on my sleeve.
“I was in a relationship for 13 years and she ran off with another man. So I didn’t want to be that man in this situation.
“It takes two to tango. I was there for comfort. At the end of the day nothing happened. I hope her fiancé finds comfort in that.
“You’re in a magnified situation and there was an attraction there. But she is an engaged woman and I don’t want to be that guy.”
