KIDS STUCK 50FT IN AIR

TERRIFIED children were trapped 50ft in the air on a roller coaster after a wheel allegedly flew off.

Twenty-one people were stuck for over two hours on the Crazy Train ride at Gulliver’s World in Warrington before being rescued.

The mum of a trapped girl said: “Staff had no idea what to do and flapped about – parents had to call the emergency services.

“Children were crying and screaming. It was just awful.” A FORMER Brit soldier has been handed a jail sentence in Turkey after fighting Islamic State.

Joe Robinson, 25, of Accrington, Lancs, was arrested on holiday and accused of fighting with the Kurdish militia.

Robinson was “broken” by the sentence of seven years and six months, but reportedly remains on bail while planning an appeal.
