JANE’S PLAIN THRILLED BY ‘THREESOME’

CORONATION Street star Jane Danson says it was a thrill to film a saucy threesome.

Her character Leanne will this week find out her lover Imran has also been dating her sister Toyah.

The girls hatch a cheeky revenge plot that involves them seducing Imran together.

Actress Jane, 39, said: “Leanne’s quite miserable sometimes, so it’s been nice for me to do different stuff. It’s not as draining, that’s for sure.

“Rather than being dark and heavy, this storyline is a bit light-hearted.

“It’s good to see Leanne’s naughty side again.”

Viewers will see Leanne and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) promise Imran (Charlie de Melo) the night of his life.

Jane added: “They play Imran at his own game and tell him it’s a dream come true for them. They say they’ve always gone for the same type of man and he says ‘really?’. He’s a bit nervous.”

Jane’s on-screen romance hasn’t all been fun and games to film, because co-star Charlie is so tall.

She added: “Charlie is about 6ft 2in and I’m 5ft 2in so I can’t actually reach him.

“There’s a good foot between us, so I could have done with a box to stand on!

“In the end, I wore the biggest heels I’ve got and he stooped down a bit, so it was fine.

“Kissing scenes are always a bit weird anyway, but we’ve both been acting long enough to know it is part of the job, so we make sure we have a giggle.”
