BRITAIN UNDER A MAGIC SPELL

ONE in five workers thinks they have been cursed by a colleague.

And a survey of spooked office staff also revealed 29% of Brits think vampires are real.

As many as 45% said it is “highly likely” witches, vampires and demons are living among us.

The bonkers findings came from Sky One ahead of the launch of drama A Discovery Of Witches.

The research found that not only do people believe in supernatural beings but four in ten UK adults are convinced they have met someone with magical powers.

A Discovery Of Witches author Deborah Harkness said: “This research gives fascinating insight into Britain’s beliefs in the supernatural, and it would appear many of us are not just open-minded about the existence of witches and vampires – but intrigued and attracted to them.”
