RIPPER: DON’T GIVE ME TURKEY AT XMAS

I WANT SALMON EN CROUTE, MOANS SUTCLIFFE

- ■ EXCLUSIVE by ISOBEL DICKINSON Chief Reporter

WHINGEING serial killer Peter Sutcliffe is snubbing a Christmas turkey dinner and is demanding posh salmon en croute instead.

Despite being offered a slap-up spread at HMP Frankland, the Yorkshire Ripper has told fellow lags he hates turkey.

The mass murderer and other vile inmates, such as Milly Dowler’s killer Levi Bellfield, will be able to gorge themselves on a lavish Christmas feast at the taxpayers’ expense.

It includes a choice of turkey with all the trimmings, vegetarian crumble bake or Halal roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for main course.

There will also be pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, swede and stuffing.

It will be followed by Christmas pudding with custard and other treats.

The menu is set to anger law abiding Brits, many of whom may struggle to provide a Christmas meal for their families.

But the Ripper, 72, has demanded fish because he has gone meat-free and does not like vegetarian crumble. The vicious killer wants salmon wrapped in puff pastry and smothered in a creamy white sauce.

An insider said: “Of course Sutcliffe is whingeing that he wants something different to everyone else, despite there being plenty of perfectly good options.”

Lags at the Category A jail in County Durham will also be treated to games to help them celebrate Christmas.

Prison bosses have laid on a pool tournament, magnetic darts, charades and karaoke.

They will even be able to take part in a carol service.

But, according to the insider, the inmates are even unhappy with the choice of games.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: “We like the prisoners to have a good time because it helps lessen what can be a very stressful time of year. “But nothing is ever good enough for Sutcliffe, and as soon as the Christmas games were discussed he began complaining

“He is a master manipulator and began dragging in other cons.” Sutcliffe has already had Christmas cards from as far away as the USA and Australia.

He boasted to lags that he expects up to 100 cards this year from his “fan club”. In the past he has been sent silk boxer shorts, soap, aftershave and hand-knitted socks. Sutcliffe, who was convicted in 1981 of murdering 13 women and attempting to kill seven more, lost his fight to remain in Broadmoor secure hospital in 2016. He was sent to the facility in Berkshire in 1984 after being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. But a health tribunal ruled in 2015 that he CAPTION: no longer needed treatment for the meWntoarlddsisinorder.
