BRONSON: I WILL WALK OUT OF JAIL Lag’s vow after court victory

- EXCLUSIVE by ISAAC CROWSON

NOTORIOUS Charles Bronson has revealed he intends to walk out of jail – and “not on a Zimmer frame”.

The lifer, who has been inside for most of the last 44 years, made the claim in a note after he was cleared of trying to attack a prison governor.

Bronson, 66, was found not guilty at Leeds Crown Court of attacking Mark Docherty and threatening to gouge out his eyes at HMP Wakefield.

Now, in a handwritten letter with drawings, he has vowed to fight the authorities and leave prison.

Bronson, who has changed his name to Charles Salvador, said: “If I had lost at Leeds it would of (sic) cost me another decade of my life.

“I would of probably died inside. All my dreams sucked inside out. But I won. The impossible. No legal help. Seven prosecution witnesses, video evidence, photo evidence and up against a Leeds top prosecutor. So how did I do it?

“Simple. I exposed the system for what it truly is and how it lives a lie. The truth hurts when it’s smashed in your face. I won it by the truth. And the truth of my 44 years in prison is nothing less than torture.” Bronson, who is serving life for robbery and kidnap, added: “Watch this space.

“I’ve not started yet. I’m soon to expose the top brass who have conspired to destroy my basic human rights.

“But remember this... from me. I’m walking out of prison. And it won’t be on a Zimmer.”

One drawing shows self-portraits with the words: “You’ve got to be in it to win it. I won it.”

Another drawing was of himself and his cell door and the words: “Leeds Crown Court 2018. We sure kicked some butt.”
