STRIKER James Collins scored a hat-trick as Luton moved to within one point of top spot after a 4-0 win over Peterborou­gh.

Top scorer Collins (below) took eight minutes to break the deadlock and added two more to his tally before the hour mark, while Luke Berry rounded off the scoring to register a first victory under interim boss Mick Harford.

1-1 draw with Rochdale. Tyler Smith bagged a brace on his senior debut but John Brayford also scored twice, including a last-minute equaliser as Burton drew 2-2 at Doncaster. Defender Sido Jombati headed a

57th-minute winner as Wycombe pushed Bristol Rovers into the relegation zone with a 1-0 win, while a stoppage-time penalty from Karlan Grant secured Charlton a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Accrington.

Both sides were a man down after Stanley keeper Jonny Maxted and the Addicks striker Lyle Taylor were dismissed eight minutes from the end following a mass brawl.

Elsewhere, it finished 0-0 between Blackpool and Shrewsbury.
