Tom has it Hall to play for

- By MICHAEL HAM

TONIGHT could be a case of out with the old and in with the new.

With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, both the AFC and NFC title games feature a quarterback destined to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer and an up-and-coming superstar.

New England quarterback Tom Brady, 41, has seen and done it all in the NFL and knows just what to expect ahead of his side’s trip to No.1-ranked Kansas City where he will face Patrick Mahomes, 23.

With the weather expected to stay below zero degrees, Brady (below) is still wary of the Chiefs’ offence which can burn red-hot.

He said: “You watch some of the plays that they were making and it’s just explosive play after explosive play. “You are watching like, ‘Holy cow, how are they doing these things?’ “And they just kept it going all year.”

Over in the NFC legendary QB Drew Brees, 40, (above) of the New Orleans Saints takes on another youngster in the LA Rams’ Jared Goff, 24.

So it’s a case of experience versus youth, in both games.

Brady added: “I was that age at one point too. I remember my first playoffs. It was different.

“But it goes fast and I’m sure it’ll go fast for them.

“Jared and Patrick have had great seasons, great offenses. And we’re still here me and Drew, doing our thing, having a lot of fun doing it.”
