Rap star killed in car crash
BRIT rapper Cadet has been killed in a car crash on the way to a gig.
The 28-year-old from south London, real name Blaine Cameron Johnson, died early yesterday.
He was a passenger in a taxi taking him to Keele Students’ Union in Staffs.
The vehicle was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Combo van in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Fellow rappers paid tribute to Cadet.
Example said: “So much positive energy.”
DJ Semtex wrote: “Can’t believe it... I was on stage with him last week.”
Cadet accumulated millions of views on YouTube and Spotify and was booked to play at this year’s Wireless Festival.
