It’s Judgment Day for ISIS

-

BY the time you read this, the final battle to rid the world of terror group ISIS may have begun.

Only a ragtag rabble of 500 jihadis remains on the Syrian border with Iraq. They are believed to include around 50 Brits.

In the next few days, there will probably be stories of how they have had a change of heart. British jihadis will surrender and beg for mercy.

We doubt many Daily Star Sunday readers will be in the mood for forgiveness once the evil murderers of ISIS have been crushed.

In fact, most readers would be happy to see them sent to America to face justice, where the death sentence is still a possibility.

This is the possible fate of the so-called ‘Beatles’ ISIS terror cell – the Brits led by the late ‘Jihadi John’ who beheaded Western hostages.

What is sure is that this tiny minority of British jihadis – who left this country to fight against us – would not be welcome back here.

They knew exactly what they were getting into and should now face the severest of consequences.

This country is famously fair to prisoners. This should not change.
