PLEA TO FIND PILOT

THE family of pilot David Ibbotson have launched a cash appeal to restart a search for his body.

Mr Ibbotson, 59, of Crowle, Lincs, was flying footballer Emiliano Sala from Nantes to Cardiff when the plane crashed into the Channel. Sala’s body was recovered.

A message on a Go Fund Me Page reads: “We can not bear the thought of him being alone, we need him home so that we are able to lay him to rest.”
