ANTHONY JOSHUA is close to confirming he will face Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller at New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 1.

The WBA-IBF-WBO world heavyweight champion was set to box British rival Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium on April 13 – but that date has now been scrapped. Miller is understood to have agreed a deal and Joshua, 29 (left) is set to announce the fight against the New Yorker this week – his first on American soil. Whyte is now hoping to face another Yank, Dominic Breazeale, at London’s O2 Arena on April 20. Joshua’s other British rival Tyson Fury, the former WBA-IBF-WBO champion, is also close to signing a deal for a rematch with WBC king Deontay Wilder which will be either in New York or Las Vegas on May 18.
