Santo’s wishlist

- By CHRIS HATHERALL

WOLVES are in pole position to land Portuguese football’s latest wonderkid Joao Felix.

The Black Country club will be ahead of the running should Benfica decide to cash in.

Felix, 19, has broken into the first team and has made the continent’s biggest clubs sit up and take notice.

But Wolves’ link with super-agent Jorge Mendes means they will be at the front of the queue.

Felix has a contract to remain in the Portuguese capital until 2023 and won’t come cheap.

But Nuno Espirito Santo has made him one of his top targets. which has been narrowly out of reach in his career.

Barca won the trophy the year before Sanchez (left) signed from Udinese in a £30million deal in 2011 and then lifted it again in 2015, the season after he moved to Arsenal.

So although the Chile flyer has played in two semi-finals and one quarter-final, he’s still waiting to lift the trophy. He said: MAKE HIS MARC: Rashford is going to top says Ole “The Champions League is a dream for any footballer. I lived with that dream at Barcelona and saw what it was like.

“I hope I can win it one day and why not here? We have got through the group stage and now PSG is next. It’s a big test but it’s 180 minutes of football and anything can happen.

“Manchester United is a club with so much history and is capable of beating any rival.

“If we win at Old Trafford and we don’t concede then I think we’d be favourites for the second leg.”
