Silva puts his shirt on City

-

DAVID SILVA says Man City have been there, done it and got the T-shirt when it comes to nail-biting title battles.

And he has piled more pressure on rivals Liverpool by insisting City proved in 2012 and 2014 they have the bottle to cope with the race for glory.

Silva, 33 (left) said: “Every time we have had this sort of pressure of having to fight for the Premier League trophy until the end, the team has always worked well. “Hopefully, this season we’ll be able to do it again. The experience of many years in the Premier League helps you a lot.” BERNARDO SILVA believes the Champions League must be Manchester City’s No.1 target.

Silva, 24 (right) said: “I think the Champions League is the most prestigious competition in the world.

“We take all competitions seriously. Not just the Premier League and Champions League but for me the Champions League is a very special competition.

“Winning it would take this club to another level.”
