MANCHESTER UNITED roared into the top four after Paul Pogba inspired another win for interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The France World Cup winner struck twice with Anthony Martial adding another to move the Old Trafford club one point ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea.

That made it 10 wins and 11 games unbeaten for Solskjaer – and put United into the top four.

Afterwards Solskjaer and his agent Jim Solbakken met with Avram Glazer, whose family own United, for talks regarding the future direction of the club, which could have included words on Solskjaer’s hopes of landing the job full time.

Solskjaer said: “The top four is a big thing for us. But there are STEVE MILLAR Liverpool 3 Bournemouth 0

GINI WIJNALDUM got up off his sick bed to help fire Liverpool back to the top of the Premier League.

The Kop star was refused entry to the team hotel by club medics on Friday night because he was suffering from a bad dose of tummy trouble.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said: “Gini had pretty much everything you don’t want before a game.

“The doctor said he could play but was still infectious.

I was concerned after he scored that everyone gave him a big hug. But it shows the character of these boys.”

But Old Trafford caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer warns that Marcus Rashford will spell out a real threat for PSG, too.

Solskjaer has only checked out Mbappe, 20, once in the French club’s first defeat of the season against Lyon last Sunday in a spying mission with his assistant Mike Phelan.

He’s watched Rashford, 21 – missing from yesterday’s 3-0 win at Fulham with a dead leg – in action every day and he’s got up close and personal to the danger PSG face in the Theatre of Dreams.

And Solskjaer is in no doubt that rival boss Thomas Tuchel will be fretting on his fitness just as much as him ahead of the Champions League spectacular.

Solskjaer (right) said: “Marcus is going to be a top-quality player. I love working with him. I am sure

PSG will look at Marcus the way we look at Mbappe – he’s one of the main threats.

“Mbappe had a fantastic rise to stardom and he’s got a fantastic smile about him. A great enthusiasm. And there will understandably be comparisons.

“I have seen Mbappe live once and Marcus every single day. Strikers don’t really dominate football but the pair of them will have a massive impression on football for the next 10 years. They will really light it up.”

Although Mbappe will get the chance to light up Old Trafford, one superstar the fans will not get to see is Neymar, out with so many games to go. The next one is Liverpool. Let’s make sure we stay there.

“We’ll do that with some help but we can’t rely on or control what others do.”

PSG are next up on Tuesday in the Champions League and Solskjaer is relishing the last 16-tie against the French giants. He added: “The next game is always the biggest one. To be in the Champions League is very important for United.

“This was perfect preparation for PSG.”
