-

LINCOLN watched their lead at the top of the table be cut to two points after they caved in to a late Stevenage fightback to draw 2-2.

Craig Mackail-Smith’s first goal since October revived Notts County’s bid for survival in their 1-0 win against secondplaced Mansfield who missed the chance to capitalise on the leaders’ dropped points.

Bury took advantage of Mansfield’s defeat with their fine 1-0 victory at

Exeter – Nicky Maynard (above) scoring the game’s only goal.

MK Dons’ promotion pursuit was strengthened by a 3-2 victory at Carlisle.

Conor McGrandles’ finish was followed just three minutes later by Carlisle’s equaliser, which came via Stefan Scougall’s penalty.

Jake Hesketh restored their lead before Kieran Agard secured all three points, though Hallam Hope added a late second for the hosts.

A 3-0 home win over Yeovil means that Forest Green move up to fifth.

First-half goals came from Junior Mondal and Christian Doidge, with victory secured by Lee Collins’ second-half finish.

Colchester were held to a 1-1 draw away to struggling Macclesfield. Scott Wilson gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time but United pulled level shortly after it with Frank Nouble’s penalty. Oldham conceded a late equaliser at home to Crewe.

Grimsby won 1-0 at home to Cheltenham through Wes Thomas’

41st-minute penalty.

A 0-0 draw between hosts Northampton and Crawley means that they are respectively 16th and

17th.

Port Vale lost 1-0 at home to Morecambe as Aaron Collins scored the visitors’ winner in a potential relegation six-pointer.
