Gio pash for Ash is growing
SIMON Pegg looks agonisingly thin as he prepares for his next movie role.
The Shaun Of The Dead star, 49, has been hitting the gym to shed body fat for six months before filming thriller Inheritance.
He has gone from 78kg to 69kg with the help of a personal trainer.
Posting the snap online, his trainer Nick Lower wrote: “The brief for this role was lean, VERY lean. It required a specific body shape & look.
“Six months of hard work has paid off and I tip my hat to you sir.”
Simon has been training with weights as well as doing circuits, core work and long runs.
He will play a character called Morgan in the film, starring alongside Lily Collins and Chace Crawford.
Simon also starred in Run, Fat Boy, Run as a man desperately trying to get in shape, above.

with fans, with one internet user called juttypants commenting: “He looks 20 years older and very unwell.”
Tilly said: “He looked better before. Whatever he has done has aged him by decades. Shame.”
But others recognised his dedication to work.
A man with the username SuperTahiti Boy said: “A very determined and professional actor.”
Ally added: “How amazing. The film role dictated he looked lean. Job done!” GIOVANNI Pernice has revealed that his romance with Ashley Roberts is blossoming now Strictly is off the air.
The couple got close during last year’s series and have since gone public.
He said: “It’s a very new relationship. We’re getting to know each other outside Strictly.”
Giovanni, 28, and former Pussycat Doll Ashley, 37, enjoyed time together while touring the country in Strictly’s arena show.
He added: “That was good because there is less pressure than on TV.
“Let’s see how the relationship develops, but my private life is just that – private.”
Strictly is known for its backstage romances.
But Giovanni has hit back at claims the show is cursed because it has been blamed for ending marriages.
He said: “If you’re in a strong relationship, it’s not inevitable that you’ll begin an affair with your dance partner.
“The rumba, the Argentine tango, they require you to put across physical attraction. But it doesn’t have to spill over into real life.
“My best Argentine tango was with Debbie McGee. Every time I watch it I get goosebumps, but there was never a relationship between us.”
