A NEW mum lay fighting for her life in hospital while her love rat fiancé was with another woman.

Yvette Masawi, 29, fell desperately ill after having Brooke by C-section and contracting sepsis.

Her fiancé Clint William, 29, visited her as she spent two weeks on the ward battling the deadly condition.

But behind her back, he was using the time to see his bit on the side.

Yvette said: “I couldn’t believe that while I was dying, Clint had been lying.

“His betrayal was too much to bear, I knew I could never trust him again.”

Yvette met Clint at the University of Bedfordshire in 2013 when they were paired up for a project.

She had seen him around campus but had always been too busy with her studies to get to know him.

She said: “I was determined to get the best grade possible to graduate with.

“I knew a boy was the last distraction I needed at university, but I’ve always fallen for intelligent men.

“With how much time we were spending together, it was inevitable I’d develop feelings for him.

“I was over the moon when, at the end of the project, Clint told me he’d fallen for me too.”

The pair, from Nottingham, graduated together a few months later and were engaged by the end of the year.

While they were house-hunting, Yvette learned that she was pregnant.

Yvette said: “Clint was as happy as I was and I remember him scooping me up and spinning me around as we laughed and cried. Clint was amazing
