Sexy secret struggle for TOWIE newcomer Demi

TOWIE is back – and it is set to be sexier than ever.

And new face Demi Sims has talked about her sexuality struggles for the first time.

The bisexual star – the younger sister of fan favourite Chloe Sims, 36 – joins the show as a regular tonight.

Demi, 22, is open to love with both boys and girls in the series.

In a Daily Star Sunday exclusive, she told how she hid her sexuality for years over fears family and friends would turn their backs on her. Demi, who says Megan Fox is her celebrity crush, added: “I started to realise I fancied girls when I was about 16.

“But I waited about three years before coming out, which was really, really hard for me.

“I actually had a boyfriend when I was 16.

“In the end, I had to break up. But I didn’t tell him why because I hadn’t told anyone.

“By 19, I was in a secret relationship with a girl for six months before I came out.” Demi called long-time TOWIE star Chloe her best friend as well as her sister.

But she admitted being too scared to tell her that she fancied girls.

She said: “I couldn’t tell Chloe. I was in such an emotional state I couldn’t speak about it, so I told my dad and he told people for me.

“Chloe was great, though. All my family were.”
