LIAM: MUM TOLD ME TO INVITE NOEL TO WEDDING

But warring brother ‘won’t come’

- HALINA WATTS

LIAM Gallagher will invite his estranged brother Noel to his wedding – because mum Peggy told him to.

The ex-Oasis singer, 46, is to marry manager Debbie Gwyther on his third trip down the aisle.

Elder Gallagher brother Paul will be best man. And Liam’s

21-year-old lovechild Molly Moorish will be bridesmaid.

Looking ahead to his big day, the rocker said: “Third time lucky, I’m ready to do it again.

“I’m buzzing more than her. This one is going to be a big thing.”

Liam proposed to his girlfriend of seven years during a holiday on Italy’s Amalfi coast.

Comparing Debbie to the wife of his Beatles idol John Lennon he said: “She is top, man. She is my little Yoko. I can’t wait.”

The couple will wed in front of

150 family and friends in Italy next summer. Despite their war of words Noel, above, will be invited, along with wife Sara. Liam laughed: “Of course he will. My mam is like, ‘You’ve got to invite him.’ And I will. I will put it out there and they will get a little envelope through the door.

“They won’t come but you never know. Like I said before, they go to the opening of anything. So as soon as they open it, it will be like, ‘Come on Noel, get your Dermot O’Leary outfit on, we are going out.’”

Revealing how he popped the question, Liam said: “We’d been talking about it for ages and Debbie was going, ‘I’m not too sure, I can’t be arsed.’ The sun was coming down, we were having a drink and I went, ‘Look, shall we do it?’

“And she is like, ‘Yeah, yeah, course.’ And then I told my mam and me kids, she told her family and everyone was buzzing.”

Liam, whose previous wives were Patsy Kensit and Nicole Appleton, said the newlyweds’ first dance will be like “f***ing Strictly Come Dancing” – and revealed he plans to take dance lessons. He added: “I’m going to wear a black suit.”

Yesterday Liam was a surprise headliner at the Peaky Blinders Festival – based on his favourite TV show. He reckons his latest album is up there with some of

Oasis’ best LPs.

He said: “If it was going out under the name Oasis everyone would be losing their s**t.

“I think it is definitely up there with the best

Oasis albums we have done.”
