A VITAL correction needs to be made concerning the story of left-wing, “wokeish” comedian Nish Kumar allegedly being heckled and having a bread roll hurled at him when he tried to entertain the audience at a gig for the Lord’s Taverners charity last week.

It was reported his anti-Brexit schtick was offensive and ill-judged and he was virtually bundled off stage.

One key fact is simply not true. Unfortunat­ely, I once stumbled upon this poseur’s lamentable show on the BBC – where else?

He is most definitely NOT a comedian.
