SCARLETT: I dumped druggie for better life with kids APPRENTICE’S FELLA IN £1.6M COKE PLOT

APPRENTICE star Scarlett Allen-Horton has revealed she ditched her criminal boyfriend for the sake of their children.

The businesswoman’s life was turned upside down in 2013 when Clayton Stephenson was jailed.

He was sentenced to seven years for being part of a £1.6million cocaine-smuggling ring.

The pair have two daughters together, and at the time their youngest was just a year old.

Stephenson’s conviction pushed Scarlett to the edge and she ended their relationship after 12 years.

Speaking about the ordeal for the first time, she said: “Ultimately for me and my children the right decision was for me to be on my own with the children.

“And that’s what I did. That was very, very difficult.”

Scarlett added: “It’s definitely impacted my life a lot. I was very focused on work.

“I was always very focused on corporate and doing well and being successful. But some of the lifestyle I had as a result of being in that relationship was quite different to that. “It was almost like a double life. That was difficult. And it still is a little bit.”

Scarlett was left to face life as a single mum.

And there was another blow in

2016 when Stephenson was found guilty of helping to organise a multi-million-pound cocaine and heroin deal from behind bars. It added eight years to his sentence.

But Scarlett has refused to let her struggle stop her from becoming a success. In recent years she has set up a recruitment business.

And she signed up for The Apprentice in a bid to secure a

£250,000 investment and the chance to work alongside Lord Sugar.

Scarlett said: “I’ve come from some challenging circumstances. But I want to be an inspiration.”

“But I want them to make an All-Stars for those who are now single. That would be incredible. I would love to watch that.” Olivia has been one of Love Island’s success stories. She is now the face of tanning brand Cocoa Brown, stocked in Superdrug and Primark stores.
