GREAT TWISTED BAKE OFF FOR BAMBER FANS

Killer shares a recipe by mum he murdered

- By MATT ACTON

MASS killer Jeremy Bamber is staging a sick copy of the Great British Bake Off for his army of warped female fans.

His supporters are whipping up treats after the White House Farm murderer shared his favourite recipes online.

One is from his adopted mother June, who Bamber shot dead alongside four other members of his family.

The killer cannot eat the cakes but recipes are shared on the “Bamber BakeOff” page on his website so his supporters can create them.

Campaigners, who run Bamber’s web page and Instagram, say photos of the cakes are then printed off and posted to him at top-security

HMP Wakefield, in

West Yorkshire.

The killer’s recipes also include a golden syrup cake, Black

Forest gateau, apple charlotte and fruit cake.

Bamber was given a rare lifelong jail term for the murders.

He gunned down his adoptive parents Nevill and June, his sister Sheila and her six-year-old twins Nicholas and Daniel in August 1985 at the family’s farmhouse in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Essex. Bamber, who killed his family to inherit their money, tried to blame Sheila, who had schizophrenia.

But the murderer has always maintained his innocence and has a vocal band of supporters.

His web page says: “Remember the Bake-Off is about acknowledging Jeremy as a victim of crime and honouring his mother’s memory.

“This enables supporters to connect with Jeremy in a way that is personal.

“Jeremy has suffered a tragedy and a 30-year injustice. “Jeremy has spoken previously about his mum’s love of baking and now it’s your turn. It’s time to get creative in the kitchen as Jeremy shares some of his favourite childhood recipes with us. “Forward pictures of your masterpieces for them to appear on Jeremy’s Instagram page. Have fun and be imaginative. Good luck.”

Several images have already been uploaded including a chocolate cake from a well-wisher in Leeds and a fruit creation from someone in Cheshire. Bamber’s killing spree is at the centre of ITV’s six-part drama White House Farm, starring Freddie Fox as the killer.
