The mum of six, 49, has been working long hours identifying Covid-19 sufferers.

Her new role far cry from her usual job in her clinic in London.

Dr Glancey, from Colchester,

Essex, has been mucking in and helping NHS staff by testing patients for the virus.

And she has been impressed by how organised and well-prepared the hospital has been – and at the tireless efforts of all those working there.

She said: “We couldn’t carry on with our procedures or surgery and I obviously am not working.

“I had seen a lot of my colleagues who work in the NHS and have heard stories of how they’re struggling, with the appeals on TV and the numbers which were growing of patients getting sick.

“I was just thinking I had the skills because I did accident and emergency before I went into cosmetic medicine and surgery, so I felt I’ve got the skills to help.

“I thought, A) It would be a is a waste not to use my skills and B) I’ve got a lot of time.

“I expected it to be a bit more like a battlefield but I’ve been surprised by how much more organised it is.”

The plastic surgery expert revealed that before the onset of Covid-19 her job had included performing penis enlargements and buttock implants.

She revealed: “Our clients tend to be from Towie and those sort of celebs.

“With them, typically, we have been working on Brazilian bumlifts, buttock implants, contouring, waist reduction.

“Obviously, I deal with breast implants, eye lifts.

“Lots of girls are asking for designer vagina procedures and hair transplants.”

She went on: “And men are asking for beard transplants. They are the younger person’s demands, as they’re after the perfect beard with no bald patches in it.

“These are the things that people want nowadays, but things change.

“Men are now very much into getting filler into their penis to increase the girth and indirectly the length as well.”

ROMAN Kemp thinks he and his I’m A Celebrity pals will find coping with lockdown a breeze. The DJ, 27, who finished third last year, said: “We basically know how to ration food and not get angry with each other.”
