Rylan is really Boeing places TV STAR LOVES PLANE SPOTTING

- By STIAN ALEXANDER

READY Steady Cook host Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed he is a secret plane spotter.

The 31-year-old, who also fronts Supermarket Sweep, said he can tell the difference between all the planes that fly over his home in Essex.

Speaking on the radio, he said he was an aeroplane “expert”. He added: “If I’m looking up at the sky and I see a plane, I can tell you what airline it is and what model and make of plane.

“I’d know if it was an Airbus A380 or A320, or a Boeing 747, because of the shape of the plane and the number of jets.

“British Airways have blue bottoms or undercarriages. I’ve got quite good eyesight, so I can tell from the tail of a plane what airline it is.”

He can even tell the type of plane by the noise, adding: “The A380 you can hear for miles – one goes over my house every single night. One goes over at 10pm and one goes over at 25 to one in the morning. “Normally if I hear a noise I get scared and think we are getting burgled. But I started to realise it was an A380.” Rylan also revealed he wants to buy the Spice Bus from the 1997 movie Spice World. It is being rented out as an Airbnb on the Isle of Wight.

He said: “I once donated some money to this big Spice Girls exhibition to refurbish the bus. “There’s a diamond plaque with my name on it saying that Rylan helped rebuild the bus. “But the exhibition didn’t last that long, to the point where I did even get to see the bus. It’s been extradited back to the Isle of Wight. So I’d like to buy the Spice Bus and have it sit outside my house.”
