Kelly’s guy is so game

KELLY Brook says her hunky fella spends more time using their home arcade than he does with her.

The model, 40, says Jeremy Parisi has been hooked on gaming during lockdown.

She moaned: “We have separate lives since the arcade came into the house. I don’t see him.”

Heart Radio presenter Kelly has been with the Italian model since 2015. She also revealed she has enjoyed lots of gin in recent weeks, but puts her empties out under cover of darkness to hide them from neighbours.

Kelly said: “We fill up all the recycling bins and we take them out at night and run away so the neighbours don’t know it’s us because we’re in a flat but we share bins, so it’s a nightmare.”

WORLD darts champion John “Boy” Walton has swapped bullseyes for busy aisles – and revealed: “It’s a complete 180, but I love it.”

The former oche ace, 58, has been working at his local Co-op.

And the 2001 BDO world champ is making home deliveries for £9 an hour.

The dad-of-five’s new life away from the sport was revealed on Twitter by BBC host Dan Walker, who stopped him to ask where the ice cream cones were.

Walton said: “We looked at each other, we both recognised each other – it was quite surreal.

“I couldn’t remember his name at the time, but he knew mine. He asked me where the ice cream cones were but we had sold out.” Known for using Rednex hit Cotton Eye Joe as his entrance music, Walton lifted the 2001 title. He was a 50-1 rank outsider at Lakeside and pocketed £46,000.

He took up a job at the Co-op in 2018 having been forced to retire from the sport with a neck injury.

Walton said: “I couldn’t play in tournaments because I wasn’t cutting it any more.

“I’ve been at the Co-op for two years now. I only work part-time, one or two days a week.

“It’s just something to do – to stop me from going stir-crazy. It’s not a financial thing, it’s just something to keep me occupied.

“I really enjoy it. I loved my time in the darts but the travelling was a killer. It’s nice to work near home and not have the pressures.

“When I started, the supervisor said, ‘I’m so stressed.’ I said, ‘You don’t know the meaning of the word.’

“I told him to imagine having one dart in your hand and knowing that if you missed the double, then you weren’t getting paid. That is stress.”

Walton, who recorded victories over the likes of darts stars Raymond van Barneveld, Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen, is often stopped for selfies by shoppers at the Sheffield store.

He said: “Some give me the odd doubletake. My colleagues sometimes rib me, saying it’s a fall from grace.

“But I’m just getting on with life. And I really enjoy what

I’m doing.”

He added: “I’ve struck up a load of friendships with the customers and it’s nice to give something back to the community.”
