Model Elle loves Brit of sausage
SUPERMODEL Elle Macpherson misses the good old British banger.
The swimwear queen reckons she was only able to go vegan after she stopped living in London six years ago – and she still craves sausages.
The 56-year-old was born in Australia but spent nearly two decades in the capital, where she had a penchant for red meat.
Speaking to Red magazine, she said: “London will always have a special place in my heart as we lived there for 17 years.
“There are times when I miss my London friends.
“I miss fireplaces and the seasons and Hyde Park and art and culture and going to the Cotswolds.
“And I miss sausages – I’ve basically been vegan since I left the UK six years ago. So that should tell you something.”
Elle has two sons from her relationship with financier Arpad Busson.
They lived together in London until 2005 when they separated.
