CARE-LESS BORIS HAD FAIR POINT
WHILE his language was clumsy, Boris Johnson had a point about how the care home sector responded to the coronavirus crisis.
Labour’s efforts to portray this as an attack on the staff involved was a transparent and shameful piece of politics.
He was asking if homes that in some instances are owned by giant US hedge firms and can charge up to £1,500 a week for care should have been able to buy some gloves and masks and limit the movements of some staff. Seems worthy of discussion, not instant dismissal from political foes. * DID you work out the Scrabble word?
It was “cobblers” and could be worth 52 points on some parts of the board!
