RICKY Gervais wants to be fed to lions when he dies.

The After Life star loves the idea zoo visitors will watch and say: “Is that the bloke from The Office?”

RICKY Gervais says he wants his corpse to be fed to lions.

The star of After Life, 59, loves the idea of tourists seeing him being ripped apart at a zoo after he dies.

The comic said: “I do not care about my physical body.

“Feed me to the lions… me just being thrown into the lions’ cage at the zoo and people – all tourists – going, ‘Is that the bloke from The Office?.’ And then they see the lions chewing me.

“I like the idea of the two lions eating me and they go for the soft bits first and they have got a testicle each – and they are about six feet apart.

“It will be like Lady And The Tramp. Just two lions just chewing my testicles. Brilliant.”

And he joked: “By the time I am 78 my testicles will be six feet apart.”

Ricky has been an animal lover all his life and admits that he prefers dogs to people.

And he regularly uses his fame to campaign against the poaching of wild creatures.

He reckons being fed to lions might be his best option because if his body is used for medical research it would horrify pathologists.

The star refuses to worry about the effect booze and junk food has on him.

He said: “I like the idea that medical students would cut me open and they’d go, ‘What the f*** is this? What has he been doing? This is disgusting.’”

Ricky has been indulging during the lockdown while at home with partner Jane Fallon, 59.

Together, they enjoy plenty of alcohol while in front of the box.

He said: “I made sure there was enough booze in the house for three months. In Armageddon, if it is the end of civilisation, honestly I would swap my last toilet roll for a bottle of wine.

“I always have enough booze for a nuclear winter.”

He went on: “We are always on the couch with a bottle of wine watching Netflix by 6pm.”

Ricky admitted that he has enjoyed being stuck at home.

He added: “I don’t like people coming to the house, or getting dressed up to go places. I prefer animals. I don’t hate people, but I don’t want to have to deal with them.”

Ricky has previously insisted he isn’t scared of dying. He said: “Roll on death. It’s going to happen, isn’t it? There’s nothing wrong with being dead.

“The best thing about being dead is that you don’t know about it. That is the best thing. It’s like being stupid – it’s only painful for others, so it’s fine.”

Will one say to the other: “Does this taste funny to you?”
