Mask gave me Star Wars ears
ALAN Carr says his ears are changing shape – and that he now looks like Yoda.
The Chatty Man star, 44, said that wearing a face mask all the time when he was out and about was making his ears stick out, like the Star Wars character.
The joker said that when he looked in the mirror the other day he thought he saw the tiny green Jedi master staring back at him.
Asked if his body had changed during lockdown, he said: “This is weird, I have noticed something changing... my ears.
“My ears have changed.
“You know the ancient Greeks say that your body changes every seven years? Well, my ears have changed.
Because of the mask situation they’ve pulled ’em out. I have Yoda ears now.”
He also revealed how he was booted out of a supermarket for pinching cheese.
Alan confessed that he kept going round the supermarket and had been helping himself to tasty samples of different cheeses on a recent shopping trip.
He said: “I’ve been thrown out of pubs and clubs, but one place I was really surprised to be thrown out of was the supermarket.
“You know when they give those free bits of cheese when they’ve got an offer on? Well, I kept going round the aisle because the cheese was so delicious.
“I kept pretending to be another customer, even though it was obviously me.
“I was just going, ‘Oh, cheese’ and then she [the woman at the cheese stand] said, ‘You’ve got to stop having the cheese... get out’.”
Alan then revealed how a security guard eventually told him to get his hand in his pocket and buy some cheese or leave the store.
The comedy star and TV host added: “So I got thrown out of the cheese aisle.
“The man said, ‘You’re taking the mick... just buy some cheese and stop being tight’.”
