Chesney your One And Only for £300

ONE-HIT wonder Chesney Hawkes is charging fans £300 for a 30-minute Zoom concert.

The singer, now 49, hit top spot in the UK in 1991 with smash record The One And Only.

But sadly for Chesney, it was his one and only big success – and follow-up singles I’m A Man, Not A Boy and Secrets Of The Heart only managed 27 and 57 in the charts.

The One And Only spent five weeks at No1 and the song later featured in the opening credits of movie Doc Hollywood, starring Michael J Fox.

Now fans can get dad-of-three Chesney beamed live into their living rooms after he joined celebrity messaging site Thrillz.

Fans are told that for £300 they’ll get: “An exclusive 30min, one-to-one interaction with Chesney. You will get his undivided attention while he performs songs and answers questions.”

Or for £75 “Chesney will record a customised, personalised and unique video message for you or one of your friends or family. Approx. 20-60 seconds”. Chesney recently revealed he was not as squeaky clean as his image portrayed back in the day.

He said: “We had our moments on tour – mainly on tour – as we were all very young. I was 19, my brother was 17 and we were young lads touring around the world playing to packed venues and just having a blast really. “And there was lots of drinking going on and lots of fun with the crowds and you know, I mean, we were in a different hotel every night and sleeping on the tour bus. “I remember all sorts of exploits to be honest with you, some that I couldn’t repeat, but let’s say the image that I had of the boy next door, the good boy, wasn’t completely true.”
