A FORMER Playboy bunny claims she is healing her dog’s cancer with cannabis.
Kerri Parker, 36, believes taking CBD helped treat her own terminal diagnosis.
She chose to shun chemotherapy for a brain tumour and turned instead to CBD, or cannabidiol – an active ingredient in cannabis – and reckons it has seen her outlive medics’ expectations.
So when Kerri’s pooch Arnie was diagnosed with a tumour last month, she again turned to CBD.
After feeding it to the 15-year-old pug, she said his tumour started to shrink.
Kerri, a former Miss UK, said: “While I haven’t officially cured my cancer – my diagnosis is terminal – doctors said without chemo I should be dead.
“The vet said Arnie was too old for surgery. I thought trying some cannabis couldn’t do him any harm.
“I would have tried anything to save him – he’s my best friend.
“When his tumour started to collapse and shrink, and then started to begin healing, I was shocked but delighted.
“Arnie is a very old man, he struggled with his back legs getting up steps, but since taking the CBD he bounces around like a puppy.”
Kerri, from Norwich, first heard about the claimed healing potential of cannabis while living at the Playboy mansion in LA in her er 20s.
The former celebrity body dy double and trainee stunt artist t was diagnosed with a brain tumour mour in 2013.
She underwent a lifesaving ing operation to remove it but it returned two years ago.
Medics told her that with- out chemotherapy and radi- otherapy she would be dead d in a couple of months.
Kerri said: “I didn’t want nt to go down the traditional al route. I’ve had cancer for or eight years now and have ve never taken pharmaceuticals ls or traditional western treatatments. Everything I do is holistic and I’m doing amazzingly well.
“I have to go to Spain to take cannabis as it’s illegal in the UK in the quantities I have, but it’s worth it.”
