Belgium will not be Court out again

- By TOM HOPKINSON

THIBAUT COURTOIS wants revenge for the defeat England inflicted on Belgium at Wembley last month.

Marcus Rashford, from the spot, and Mason Mount scored the goals that gave the Three Lions victory over the world’s

No.1-ranked team after Romelu Lukaku had given the visitors the lead with a penalty of his own.

Roberto Martinez’s side top Group A2 ahead of tonight’s clash in Leuven.

And keeper Courtois,

28, said: “Belgium did not merit the defeat by England in London and for this reason we want revenge this time.

“We want to play in the Nations League finals and this means us beating England. This is our challenge.

“England have big players, that is unquestionable.

“And with absences or not they are always one of the teams who are candidates for success.

“Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford are examples of their top players and very dangerous for any defensive line.

“We need to concentrate very hard to avoid any surprises.

“Belgium are close to qualifying for the final phase and to fail against England will be a pain.

“The Nations League is an official competition and we dream of entering the finals.”

Courtois missed October’s clash with a knock and former Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet replaced him.

But the Real Madrid star is expected to return.

He added: “Now my objective is to get back as Belgium’s No.1.

“Simon Mignolet is working at a good level and after my injury it is not easy to be the keeper for the national team.”
