Bronson: I’ll chase the coke dealer who killed my wife to gates of hell
CHARLES Bronson reckons he has tracked down the man who sold his wife drugs that led to her death – and promised “payback”.
The notorious prisoner, 68, vowed to take revenge on the dealer who supplied Paula Williamson with cocaine before she died. Bronson, who was this week kicked out of an inquest into Paula’s death after losing g his cool, criticised police for or not finding the pusher themselves. Speaking for the first t time since the hearing on Wednesday, the lag said he had used contacts on the e outside to identify the e person he claims is s responsible. He warned he e “would chase e them to the e gates of hell”. Bronson, inset, who o is locked up at HMP Woodhill, in Milton ilton Keynes, Bucks, k told ld h his son George Bamby: “The Old Bill never even went to the bars and the clubs where she was.
“If they’d have gone there and checked it out and looked at CCTV, they would have probably y seen the geezer g who gave her the drugs. It’s not r rocket science, is it? “Now that t geezer, I’ll never forget h him. I’ll tell you now, I alread already know who he is. “I know him, I know wh where he lives, I know his ful full name, I know his family and I will chase him all the way to the gates of f** f***ing hell, believe me. “Make no bones about it, slag.” s
C Coronation Street actress Paula and Bronson becam became pen pals in 2013 and wed four years later.
Their relationship rel later ended and the marriage was set to be annulled when she died following a night out in Stokeon-Trent, Staffs.
A coroner ruled the 38-year-old’s death was drug-related after cocaine and alcohol were discovered in her system.
The inquest, at Stoke Civic Centre, heard Paula was found dead at her home on July 29,
2019, by her new partner, Peter Jones. Mr Jones said Paula had gone to bed at around 1am. He slept on the sofa before finding her unresponsive at 6am. Bronson, who was Paula’s next-of-kin, appeared at the hearing via a video-link from jail this week. But he was booted out for 10 minutes after hitting out at Mr Jones, branding him “a muppet”.
He raged: “What was he doing in Paula’s house anyway? Paula was my wife. “Does he get a kick out of being with the wives of geezers who are in prison? “He’s a muppet. He left her up in the bedroom when he’d seen the state she was in when she came home.”
Bronson, due for parole this year, was jailed for seven years for armed robbery in
1974. Since then, he has taken hostages in 10 sieges and attacked at least 20 prison officers.
