HOW can precious Covid vaccines be chucked in the bin?

It’s hard to believe this is happening as millions of Britons wait for the jabs that will give them protection.

Yet some barmy rules mean GPs have to discard vaccines that are not used at the end of the day.

We agree with the doctors who say this “verges on the criminal”.

But it doesn’t surprise us.

This is the government that couldn’t organise a party in a brewery.

They don’t seem to get anything right first time. There has to be an outcry, followed by an inevitable U-turn.

And again, lives are put at risk while they faff about.
