Aprilia passion for a naked twin
This looks like a great machine. It’s the new Aprilia Tuono 660, a naked sports bike that’s based on the recently launched RS660 middle weight that’s in (closed) showrooms now.
It uses the same 659cc parallel twin engine as the sports version that is essentially the front two cylinders from the V4 motor that’s in the Aprilia RSV4 1100 superbike.
Costing £9,700, the Tuono 660 is designed to be a more useable version of the RS660 and features the same bodywork as the
V4 Tuono. The bike bristles with electronics including traction control and antiwheelie; cruise control and five customisable riding modes.
Aprilia will also be selling a 47bhp
A2-compliant version for newer riders.
