Watson’s isolating

FORTY-SEVEN players at the Australian Open will have to stay in their hotel for 14 days following three positive Covid tests at Melbourne airport.

The players, including Britain’s Heather Watson, are isolating after two people on a chartered flight from Los Angeles carrying 24 players returned positive swabs.

And a passenger on a plane from Abu Dhabi carrying 23 players also returned a positive result.
