Aristo says jungle jaunt has got too dull

LADY Colin Campbell reckons I’m A Celebrity is too boring.

The author, who was a contestant in 2015, claims the only drama on the show is engineered by producers.

She said: “The producers need to resort to creating artificial conflict and tension.

“That is what I’m A Celebrity needs because it is a completely artificial construct.”

In fairness, scores of viewers have moaned that the show has become a bit of a yawn.

Last year’s series, which was filmed in north Wales rather than Australia, was widely slated on social media by viewers who found it too lovey dovey.

The celebs seemed to spend most of their time in camp having singalongs and saying how much they adored each other.

It was very welcome during lockdown, but hardly TV gold.

Lady C is returning to our screens on the new series of Celebs On

The Farm.

And she reckons it is a better show than

Ant and Dec’s.

She said: “The format for Celebs

On The Farm is very different. It has inbuilt tension because of the reality of farming and dealing with the animals.

“There are unpredictable elements quite naturally.” She continued: “It was one of the happiest experiences of my life. I loved everything about it. It was as close to perfection as it’s possible to get.”

Lady C is on the show alongside Linda Robson, Kerry Katona and Shaun Williamson. Just like on I’m A Celeb, she couldn’t give a monkey’s if they don’t like her. She said: “I’m myself. People who don’t like me are entitled to that opinion. “I’m not trying to influence people one way or another.

“It’s well known that I don’t suffer fools or nasty people gladly.” It starts tomorrow at 9pm on MTV.
