BIG Brother legend Nikki Grahame has died aged 38. She passed away on Friday after a long battle with anorexia.

Her agent last night said: “It breaks our hearts to know that someone who is so precious was taken from us at such a young age. “Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.”

Her death comes just weeks after she was admitted to a specialist clinic to help her eating disorder. Worried fans raised more than £65,000 for the treatment after photos of her skinny frame were posted online.

At the time, her mum Susan said: “We’ve been on this road a long time, 30 years on and off, and I’ve never seen her this bad. I’m frightened that I’ll die and she’ll have no one to support her. I don’t want her to go through any of this alone.” Former Big Brother host Davina McCall said: “I am so sad to hear about Nikki Grahame. My thoughts are with her friends and family xx She really was the funniest, most bubbly sweetest girl.” Rylan Clark-Neal, who was a close friend and fronted Big Bro’s spin-off show, said: “Thinking of Susan and Nikki’s close friends and family.”

Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon added: “RIP darling. Thoughts and prayers to your loved ones.” And Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness said: “One of the stars from the glory years of reality TV.” Nikki was one of Big Brother’s most memorable contestants

during her back in 2006.

The Londoner was famed for her over-the-top outbursts in the Diary Room, including one where she demanded: “Who is she?”

Nikki returned to the TV house in

2010 for Ultimate Big Brother and was voted runner-up.
