No hitch for Critch but feet on ground

- By LIZ BYRNES

BLACKPOOL boss Neil Critchley insists his team will not have their heads turned despite going sixth after their first win at Bramall Lane since April 1977.

Keshi Anderson scored the only goal when he found acres of space from a Daniel Grimshaw goal-kick and curled the ball across Blades keeper Robin Olsen.

It propelled the Tangerines to sixth, although Sheffield United will wonder how they didn’t get something from a game which at times they dominated.

It was a third consecutive win for Blackpool and Critchley said: “None of us get carried away, you can’t afford to.

“We’ve got our feet on the floor – we play with no ego, you can see that.

“We play with no arrogance, everybody puts a shift in.

“We all work hard together and that’s why we’ve been successful and that won’t change.”

The boos rang out at Bramall Lane at the final whistle as the misfiring Blades went down to their fourth home defeat.

Manager Slavisa Jokanovic pointed to his side’s inability to take their chances and added: “For 72 minutes we were at a good level and played a good game but unfortunately we didn’t make it a good thing and be more clinical to score the goals.

“These people have paid their money for tickets. If I am a United supporter and I follow this team all season I must be unsatisfied.”
