Having made the decision to return to work, Rhona prepares herself and is happy to be back at the coal face. Back at home, Marlon stifles a worrying cough.

The next day, Rhona is worried about leaving Marlon alone again, but is determined to have a better day at work. Meanwhile, Bear takes Marlon to visit the allotment where his cough worsens. Liam drives him to the hospital and Rhona is sick with worry when she finds out he’s developed aspiration pneumonia.The doctor reveals Marlon’s rehabilita­tion is likely to regress.

Elsewhere, Chloe asks Noah to walk her home, unaware of his scheming.

Leyla is set on bolstering Jai’s mood and tells him she believes his story about the drugs not being his. After seeming unsure about Suzy hanging around, she and Priya agree to a business collaborat­ion with her. Suzy secures a meeting with a rich client and the trio’s pitch goes well. But it soon becomes clear what Leyla has been hiding as she and Suzy celebrate by enjoying some cocaine together at Take A Vow. Will Vanessa catch them when she walks in?

Wedding bells are ringing for Toyah and Imran, but Abi is determined to derail their big day when she finds out that Imran has hired Ben to dig up some dirt on her. She hijacks Toyah’s wedding car and tries to persuade her to cancel the wedding.

Her plan fails and Imran and Toyah get married in front of Nick, Leanne, Kelly and Adam. As the happy couple and their guests pile into cars after the service, Imran confronts Abi and tells her she’s an unfit mother.

It’s judgement day for Janine as Scarlett’s custody trial draws closer – but her mind is elsewhere as she and Mick continue to have intimacy issues. Janine confronts him, but Mick is reluctant to talk about it and deflects her questions. He later confides in Mitch that he can’t be intimate with Janine.

However, when Janine finds out Mick had a thing with Whitney, the claws come out. She warns Whitney to stay away from him, but after her attempts to seduce him fail, she exchanging cash. Will Imran play dirty to gain custody of his son?

Meanwhile, Stu and Ken are accused of an attempted break in when they take a trip to the wholesaler­s. Stu leaves the police station where the officer tells him he’s got off lightly. However, Yasmeen is not as forgiving.

Elsewhere, Aggie discovers that Mr Thorne rushed Peter’s operation in order to win a bet.The incident is reported and Mr Thorne is furious when he finds out his operations have been cancelled until further notice. He speaks to Aggie and promises to make her life a misery. makes a decision. If the judge gives her custody of Scarlett, she’ll leave Walford for good.

Meanwhile, Sam continues to meddle with Kat. It’s a big week for Tommy as he pours all of his energy into impressing the football coach, Collin. However, when Sam overhears Martin telling Zack and Nancy about his knife incident, she spots an opportunit­y to sabotage his chances. Speaking loudly to them about the trouble he’s in, Sam makes sure the coach overhears.

Ethan pens a letter to Dave about not being able to escape what’s coming. He’s clearly preparing for a heart-wrenching goodbye and his worst fears come true when he and his employees come face to face with the dreaded Undertaker.

Later, during a tense showdown, the Undertaker gives them a deadly ultimatum.

Meanwhile, things turn sour between Shaq and Verity when she gets the wrong idea about him and Nadira. She takes matters into her own hands and in the process gives Shaq a huge decision to make.

Elsewhere, Romeo and Donna-Marie put a plan in place to keep James away from the temptation of his addiction.

Unable to deny his feelings for Harlow any longer, Ned ends things with Amy. He waits until after the fashion show where a shocked Amy demands an explanatio­n.

Mackenzie makes a savage decision and sacks Felicity. Meanwhile, Jasmine’s romantic dinner with Cash is interrupte­d when a stranger comes looking for her.
