Family back his sneak smooch with Ekin-Su
LOVE Island hunk Jay Younger’s family support his controversial romance with Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.
They got together despite her already being coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti, but Jay’s brother Tom thinks they were right to go for it.
He said: “There appears to be strong chemistry between Jay and Ekin-Su. I can normally tell if Jay likes someone by his big smile.
“We see Jay being his authentic self – intelligent, charismatic and upfront.”
Jay, 28, and Ekin-Su, 27, left many viewers shocked when they arranged an illicit meeting to enjoy a secret snog.
In hilarious footage, she was seen crawling towards the villa’s terrace so Davide wouldn’t see where she was going.
Tom said: “We loved the Mission: Impossible crawling action.”
But Jay and Ekin-Su’s sneaky antics have divided viewers. The pair have even sparked debate on telly shows including Loose Women. But Tom has no concerns about his brother’s actions. He said: “Our family and friends are so proud of Jay. That’s his style. “It’s been unbelievable watching him on Love Island.” Becoming a big talking point has boosted Jay, left, and Ekin-Su’s chances of winning this year’s series. The pair are now among the bookies’ favourites.
Yet rivals Luca Bish, 23, and Paige Thorne, 24, last night remained in pole position to nab victory, according to bookmakers Paddy Power. An action-packed fortnight has helped Love Island pull in bumper viewing figures. Around five million Britons are now hooked on the show, filmed on the holiday hotspot of Majorca.
