Bride’s party dubbed ‘vile ugly trash’ by restaurant
A BRIDE was left fuming after a restaurant branded her hen party pals a bunch of “chavs”.
Melissa Grogan-Morgan’s group were also labelled “peasants” and “bottom of the barrel” despite splashing out £600.
The row started after she posted a review saying she was disappointed with the “awful service” and upset that her friends were split up.
She also complained about the “terrible attitude” of the manager.
But she was horrified when the 47 King Street West restaurant in Manchester hit back, calling them “vile people” with “ugly faces”.
It added: “Clearly never eaten out in a decent restaurant in their lives. What absolute trash they were. We pity the groom!”
Melissa, 27, a customer service manager from Stoke, said: “I’m in disbelief at how rude and arrogant they have been.
“It’s absolutely shocking customer service – if I’d have treated a customer like that at work I’d have been sacked.”
Restaurant owner Michael Hymanson said: “The whole incident is regrettable. It has been investigated and dealt with internally.” Melissa Grogan-Morgan I’ll start with the good points... restaurant was nice and the food was fab. However the service was awful. My friends booked this restaurant for my hen do for 18 of us. Originally it was 10 but numbers grew and they let the restaurant know about it with plenty of notice. However we were sat on two separate tables that weren’t next to each other. When my friends arrived to set up they questioned this.... 47 King Street West The chaviest worst most vile people ever to grace our restaurant. Wouldn’t know fine dining if it slapped them in their ugly faces. Best thing ever is that they won’t return. Bottom of the barrel.
