Get ready for all-new knockout games

-

E3, THE annual mega computer games conference is nearly here.

But what secrets are in store for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4?

Daily Star gamer Tom Hutchison takes us through what we hope to see in LA next week.

GEARS OF WAR: XBOX ONE We’re hoping Microsoft will unveil the Xbox One’s first dedicated Gears original game. Imagine what the extra power of the machine could do to the look of the popular guns and muscles series.

MASS EFFECT 4 The first trilogy was a huge hit for Electronic Arts.

But its strange and contentious ending in ME3 left many fans unhappy. We want to see a strong, epic new storyline spanning alien worlds and a new hero away from Commander Shepherd to herald in a fresh trilogy for the next-gen consoles.

WATCH DOGS 2 The first title broke records for a brand new game last year.

So a sequel reveal at E3 wouldn’t be a complete surprise.

Expect an expanded storyline for protagonist Aiden Pearce as our hero continues to take on baddies in a battle to clean up Chicago.

BATTLEFIELD 5 After this spring’s successful Battlefield Hardline, it’s likely Dice is already hard at work on BF5. The cops and robbers theme really shook up an overpopulated genre.

Strap in another cracking multiplayer suite and this would easily be a huge seller again and top title if revealed at E3.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 Rockstar is riding high off the back of the best-selling game ever in Grand Theft Auto 5. But now it’s time for it to move on from that behemoth to something fresh.

Fans have been desperate to re-enter the cowboy world of Red Dead after the last game dazzled the globe over.

And if Rockstar puts the time in to make that world as detailed as GTA’s Los Santos, no-one will come away disappointed.
